The Arab Saraya was a prominent building facing the famous Jaffa Clock Tower, housing the Arab National Committee headquarters in Jaffa. Jewish gangs planted explosive-laden cars, causing their explosion and resulting in the deaths of 70 Palestinians and injuring dozens.
