Shifa Amr Massacre
On August 4, 2005, four Palestinians from 1948, within the ''Green Line'', were martyred by a young terrorist, the settler "Eden Tzuberi" (19 years old) from the Tfuva settlement near the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank. The mentioned settler had evaded military service in the Israeli occupation army in June 2005 for religious reasons. The Jewish settler, wearing a distinctive military uniform of the occupation army, boarded the bus while it stopped at the "Kiryat Gat" settlement. Upon reaching the Druze neighborhood in the town of Shfa Amr, the Israeli settler opened fire at the bus passengers before the passengers managed to subdue him. Following the news of the attack, thousands of residents of the town attacked the Jewish settler and succeeded in killing him, confronting Israeli police heavily armed, which further fueled the residents' anger towards the occupation police officers.
