The Zaytoun neighborhood Massacre

While Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei was meeting with envoys from the U. S. administration in Ramallah, Israel committed a new massacre in which 13 martyrs fell in the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City. Israeli forces penetrated the Zaytoun neighborhood on Wednesday, January 28, 2004. Several Israeli tanks and vehicles participated, launching intensive fire towards the homes of civilians. They also destroyed a National Security site and set fire to agricultural lands.
