Khan-Yunis Massacre

On the morning of Monday, October 7, 2002, Israeli forces carried out an incursion into the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 14 Palestinians and the injury of 147 others.

Dozens of tanks and military vehicles penetrated several kilometers into the city, covered by air support from American-made Apache helicopters. The helicopters bombed a gathering of civilians in the Hope neighborhood in the Battalion area. More than 60 tanks, military vehicles, and a large number of Israeli soldiers began the invasion of the western sector, the western slopes, and the Hope neighborhood in Khan Yunis around 1 AM on Monday.
